Sam Davis
Sam Davis was born in Columbus, Ga. on
October 18, 1984. Since his birth he has
resided in his home town of Abbeville,
Alabama. Sam graduated from Abbeville
Christian Academy in may 2003 and then
attended Wallace Community College from
2003-2005 where he earned a Associates of
Science degree. Upon his graduation he then
attended Troy University where he graduated
in December of 2007 with a Bachelors in
Social Science and in Secondary Education.
Sam became a Christian when he was 16
years old after attending a number of services
at Hickory Grove Free will Baptist church in
Abbeville. After being saved by the Master
Jesus Christ, Sam was soon after called by
Him into the Ministry at the green age of 17.
Upon God's calling of Sam into the ministry in
the year 2001, Sam has spoken to
approximately 2,000 people in over dozen
churches encompassing every major
denomination from Souther Baptist, to Free
will Baptist, to Assembly of God, to Methodist,
to non-denominational churches and even to
African American Missional churches!
Moreover, Sam has never asked to speak at
any church, nor has he ever sought out any
position in any church! With that said, Sam
has served as the Youth Pastor at the
Abbeville United Methodist Church for four
years, (2003-2007) and has now followed
God's Call to Pastor Napier United Methodist
Church! Sam is 23 years old and his passion
is to know Christ and to do his will! He
desires to teach and Preach the whole
council of God in order that lost sinners
would be truly saved, God's people would
grow in the grace and knowledge of the
Master Jesus Christ and that God would
receive all the praise, worship, honor and
glory from his life!
"Preaching the Gospel is to us a matter of life and
death; we throw our whole soul into it. We live and
are happy if you believe in Jesus and are saved.
But we are almost ready to die if you refuse the
Gospel of Christ."
